Recently a joint team of BCT divsion and Parel workshop supervisors visited Jagadhri to do comparative study of the two workshop. The visit was an eye opener for the team. It appears that Parel needs a complete revamp to come upto the level of Jagadhri.

ReplyDeleteI represent a consulting firm and we are currently trying to understand the demand for seats and allied components in Indian Railways. While I have been able to understand the new demand from coach manufacturers, I do not have much information about demand from the replacement market (during POH of coaches). From your article, it seems you may be having a view on this. Is it possible to speak over phone?
